THE COALITION FOR VACCINATION
The Coalition for Vaccination brings together European associations of healthcare professionals and relevant student associations in the field. It was convened by the European Commission in 2019. The Coalition aims to support delivering accurate information to the public, combating myths around vaccines and vaccination, and exchanging best practices on vaccination. Healthcare professionals’ role is to reassure people that vaccines are safe and effective.

SUPPORTING EUROPEAN IMMUNIZATION WEEK 2021
IMMUNION was pleased to join this year’s World Health Organization campaign ‘Vaccines Bring Us Closer’. Unsurprisingly, vaccines have been at the forefront of many conversations lately. However, despite tireless efforts by healthcare professionals to dispel common myths and provide valuable, evidence-based information, there’s still a lot of misinformation surrounding vaccines and vaccination. So how do we manage to highlight the importance of vaccines in leading healthy, happy lives? #VaccinesWork
For this year’s World Immunization Week, the WHO made it their mission to shift the conversation and remind us all of how vaccination is what enables us to be together with those we hold dear without any safety concerns.
