Links between the Coalition for Vaccination and IMMUNION

All three Coalition co-chairs are also IMMUNION project partners. All other full Coalition members are represented in IMMUNION’s Scientific Advisory Board, where they provide strategic insights.

The IMMUNION project aims to strengthen the Coalition for Vaccination and the collaboration between its members, as well as increase the visibility and engagement of the Coalition with wider networks working in vaccination. The project will focus on streamlining and improving the Coalition’s communication and joint activities.

In turn, members of the Coalition for Vaccination will also help to achieve the objectives of the IMMUNION project, in their role as project partners and stakeholders, helping to engage health professionals across Europe in project activities and dissemination project outputs.

Outcomes

IMMUNION will contribute to the Coalition for Vaccination in the following ways:

Strengthened collaboration and communication amongst current (and future) Coalition for Vaccination members to help increase vaccine confidence.
Increased visibility and engagement of the Coalition with wider networks of actors working in vaccination (for example, World Health Organization, European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, etc.)
Improved accessibility to trusted vaccination information and training materials (including materials and campaigns developed by the Coalition) for individual health professionals across Europe
Advancing the Coalition's mission to support delivering accurate information to the public through healthcare professionals, combating myths around vaccines and vaccination, and the exchange of best practices on vaccination
